The Quilted Vest is the wardrobe's adjustment knob: over a knit when a jacket is too much, under a coat when the coat isn't enough. A high-density shell in a matte finish, quilted through with a soft cotton-blend lining, a collar that zips to the chin, and two zip pockets that hold keys and phone without printing.

No sleeves means no bulk where you move — which is why this shape has been on country walks and station platforms for a hundred years.
